Prayer

Lord, your limitless power it awesome, You are Alpha and Omega, You are Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient, Lord, I cry out to you from the depths of my being. Hear my cry Oh Lord, and have mercy on my soul! Lord, grant my family and I favour Favour in every aspect of our lives. Lord I put before you each member of the family, You knew us before we were born.    Lord, reveal your mighty self to us once again Lord remember those who mourn the loss of loved ones, grant them your peace Lord, provide for and strengthen those who are feeble in body And comfort those who minds are wavering Lord, walk beside those who are having challenges along the spiritual journey. Jehovah Rapha, restore the health of this family Jehovah Nissi you are our protector, guards us from evil and from workers of iniquity Your name Everlasting Father is worthy to be praised Amen! © 2014 Wayne Campbell

Body Image

We live in a world where the media is instrumental in shaping and defining our views on many social issues, one of which is the perfect body. Do you think men struggle as much with their body image as women do? Oftentimes both men and women who suffer from a negative concept of their body type experience episodes of depression, insecurity,low self-esteem and suicide. We are all made in the image and likeness of God. Don't allow anyone to dictate to you what your body type should be!

A Personal Encounter

Whenever we go through trials and episodes of testing the tendency is for us to retreat into a state of hopelessness and despair, even fear. However, when our breakthrough happens it comes with a sense of overwhelming joy and relief which reinforces our faith and strengthen our walk with God. © September 2014 Wayne Campbell

Literacy and Human Development

“Literacy is not a luxury; it is a right and a responsibility. If our world is to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century we must harness the energy and creativity of all our citizens.” – President Bill Clinton Literacy is a human right and not a privilege. It is imperative that as humans’ beings we are afforded the opportunity to read and write. Literacy provides an avenue for both social and human development and acts as a tool for personal empowerment. In recognition of this fact each year the United Nations (UN) set aside September 8 to celebrate International Literacy Day. The theme for the 2014 literacy day is “Literacy and Sustainable Development”. Literacy is the ability to use printed and written information to function in society. Literacy provides us with the ability to achieve our personal goals, as well as, develop our knowledge and skills set. I am tired, so very tired, swallowing her lies, day after day, night after night Almost choking!
